Our brand new Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre for City residents* and workers with a workplace located in the postcodes EC1-EC4 is open.
Book here for online counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups who are experiencing any of a range of emotional and psychological difficulties – whatever your income or circumstances
*(and those living in neighbouring boroughs, i.e. Tower Hamlets, Camden, Westminster, Islington, Hackney, Southwark and Lambeth)
How the Centre can help?
The Centre enables you to explore and address difficulties online such as:
- Struggles with marital and relationship issues and those relating to family and work life
- Sexual problems
- Self-esteem issues
- Life transitions, such as moving towards retirement.
We are offering online appointments now.
Who Is It For?
The therapy delivered by the City Wellbeing Centre will be available to all, including people on low incomes, and the Centre will play an important part in tackling health inequalities within the borough.
The counselling and psychotherapy available at the Centre is designed to allow City residents and workers to reflect on and explore the things that they are finding distressing or upsetting, with the aim of helping them to feel less sad, worried or disturbed about current or past events, or relationships.

Created through premises from the City of London Corporation, the City Wellbeing Centre will chart new territory in providing access to longer-term talking therapies which have tended not to be available through the NHS in recent years.

Tavistock Relationships is a non-profit organisation with more than 70 years’ experience of helping individuals and couples with a range of emotional and relationship difficulties, and recently has been commissioned by the City Corporation to establish and deliver this new service.
